For your consideration, an extremely Rare 1960s Teisco VAMPER in black. These were only made for a year or two, from 1967-1968. This, perhaps is the ONLY ONE for sale in the world at the moment. It has a lovely Mosrite inspired semi hollow body with A German carve. A fully bound body on the front as well as the back. A bound headstock and bound neck compliment this instrument in addition to the pearl block inlays. All hardware is fully original, with no modifications. The tremolo arm is a replacement, I think the original was longer in length. This vintage guitar Features two "blade"Style pickups that are very biting and clear! Single volume and tone and a three way switch give you various tones. A previous owner placed a ‘black 5 ‘ amplifier badge on the front. I will remove the ‘black 5 ‘ badge prior to sale. I will keep it as a memento and it will leave two minuscule screw holes on the body. You can see it in the detailed photos. There are two vintage 70’s stickers on the backside of the guitar. Those stickers are easy to remove if you want. It has its fair share of dings, bumps, scratches and players wear, but nothing affects its utmost playability. There is residue of nail polish black or paint on the back, must be where there was buckle rash. You can faintly see the brush strokes on the back of the body. The frets have been cleaned and polished, and show years of life left. Neck is arrow straight and truss functions naturally. Additionally, the neck and fretboard has been cleaned and conditioned. A personal setup is always recommended and preferred whenever adding a new axe to your stable. Nice sounding, nice playing, nice piece of professional quality Japanese Teisco craftsmanship! This was one of the TOP MODELS of the time and exact production numbers are unknown. The top teisco craftsmen put their heart and soul into making these amazing guitars which pay tribute to mosrite and Rickenbacker of the era! Make an offer!
