Martin HD-40MK, Mark Knopfler Ltd Ed (119/251) This is a hard to find, great Dred with Italian Alpine Spruce Top, Jumbo Frets and Unique Soundhole Rosette. Excellent condition with fine pick guard scratches and a small scratch into top upper left bout >driver side (see photo) minor scratch on back , usual play wear. Had this guitar in many studios , played not displayed but still it will do great in anyone's collection. Stored with humidifier in case, and from a non-smoking environment. I've played many of the other Martin models like the Tom Petty, Peter Frampton, Clarence White & Roger McGuinn , but this has it's own subtle standout points. For the price, HEAD and SHOULDERS above the rest. A very warm guitar, an even balance low to high, and cuts through in the mix. The soft V neck etc etc Mark Knopfler really knew what he wanted here.
