1995 Ernie Ball Music Man EVH - Eddie Van Halen Signature Guitar | Translucent Purple Quilt Maple CASE QUEEN! • ERNIE BALL/MUSIC MAN made the EDWARD VAN HALEN Signature Guitar between 1991 and 1995 with only an estimated 6,000 - 7,000 produced (including hard tail models). • EBMM quilt maple tops are well known for being absolutely gorgeous, but Translucent Purple is a color that is notorious for fading. • This guitar is an absolute Case Queen and the Translucent Purple finish has been extremely well preserved. • The backside of the black basswood body is gorgeous and still has the original protective plastic over the control cavities. • This guitar is 25+ years old and is still essentially just like a floor model that has been rarely and gently played. It's an absolute collector's quality guitar and great investment piece. My only problem with it is that it's actually too nice for me to ever really enjoy. I'm fortunate enough to have two EBMM EVH models (as seen in one of the last photos) and although Translucent Purple has always been my favorite color, I always grab for my gold because it's been perfectly broken-in for so long. In this condition, the purple has really become a rare gem because it has been preserved its whole life and I just can't allow myself to add any wear to it at this point. • I'm currently selling both my Gold STAGE KING along with my Purple CASE QUEEN in separate listings but am certainly open to exploring a bundle deal with the right collector. I have decided to move-on from both of these guitars and hunt for another Trans Purple, but already broken-in like my Gold, because for me that would truly be The Best of Both Worlds!
