Magic (Venlonia) flat top and bowled back acoustic guitar Made in Venlo, the Netherlands Color: Sunburst
Condition: Excellent(near mint); This guitar came into our shop in very nice condition. The neck was straight and it had almost no damage. The only thing that really needed soms attention was the fretboard. The frets where coming out and it was really dirty. We pulled out all the frets and made sure that the fretboard was perfectly flat. We cleaned all the old glue resedue and other filthy dirt. The frets where still in great condition, and since they where made of brass we decided to do the refret with these original frets. All the frets where glued in and leveled. The fretboard then was being polished and oiled. A brand new set of D'Addario strings where installed to complete it's restoration. The action on this guitar is pretty low for such an old and aged instrument. It is not really clear to us what type of guitar this is. It seems some combination of a "gipsy jazz" and parlor guitar.
