This bass is an amazing player with great EQ system for tonal varieties. Exotic wood neck feels amazing on the hands, shaped real thin at the headstock but sorta round further down the neck. There's a reason new German made Warwicks cost what they do.
The ergonomics of this bass are awesome. With the included strap locks, and the long upper horn, this bass stays where you want it. It's about 9lb, and I'm pretty sure it's maple, you can kinda see flaming under the black on the body, but it's hard to tell. Think the black out is original, but I'm not the original owner, so I truly don't know.
This is when they still made full wenge necks. In '95 and earlier they wrote fortress one on the fortress masterman truss rod covers. This has two jazz pickups housed in the one pickup. Both active. Has controls for bass and treble for each individual pickup. As well as volume and pan. Wenge neck is great, frets are good. Just a little scratch on the smaller horn. Selling cause I bought something awesome, otherwise this bass is great, never thought I'd sell. This thing growls. Has nut adjustable for each string, each bridge saddle is 3d adjustable. Has recessed strap locks, included.
Gotta say it again, because it was my favorite part of this bass, the wenge neck is awesome. I might regret selling this one. I've owned the same model before. The growl from this thing is excellent too, and with 2x active and treble controls you can get a really dialed in sound.
Will ship in a hard case, in a guitar box, packed tight. Will loosen truss rod and strings prior to shipping.
