Ampex 401 (Reel to Reel Tape Recorder) 400

Ampex 401 (Reel to Reel Tape Recorder) This is one of the coolest Ampex Tape Recorders, it is essentially an all in one recorder direct to Tape. Could be setup for Tracking A band all on one mic in a room, like Sun Records. Or you could set it up to just process tracks out of your Computer DAW Setup. Probably needs a rebuild. I haven’t tried to power it up. I’ve owned this for over 10 years and it’s been stored with the lid on and covered in plastic. Very Clean Unit.
