The Accuphase C-260 is a vintage high-fidelity preamplifier that was released in Japan in 1991. The unit is remarkable for both its highly advanced circuit engineering and the high quality of the components used in its construction. The technical specs of the C-260 are impressive, featuring Accuphase’s original line input differential push-pull and cascode push-pull circuit, with an input stage FET circuit that’s also cascode & constant current load. The resulting sound is nothing short of exceptional. The aesthetics of this amp are also excellent, with clean lines and a nice balance of wood and gold-finish metal components. This particular unit is in very good condition, with only light signs of aging, including a few minor scratches (please check photos).
