This is a wonderful example of a Vintage Gibson L7 CP. Looks to be a 1948 by the serial number.
I have also seen this model called the L-7 CES, but I think that is the single pickup.
It has not been refinished and is in excellent condition for its age.
This has the McCarty Pickup assembly. And we just had the pickups rewound by Tom Brantley. This is the double pickup assembly that began to be offered as a single or double in 1948.
This L-7 appears to have the original tuners and frets. The frets still have lots of life to them. This guitar plays great. The tailpiece looks to be a replacement.
I tried to get detailed pictures of everything, but please let me know if you have any questions. Or if you would like to see a certain area closeup.
