ADA MP-2 Version 1.41 midi guitar preamp

Thank designer Todd Langner for this modern classic ADA creation.
THERE IS A ISSUE*****Look at the pictures to see the strange artifact, circled in red, on the display**** The version 1.31 shows an arrow pointing to the right on the display instead of a seven '7' thing. No change in sound or operation. It could be from the newer 1.41 firmware. Be aware.
Other than that , it is tip top.

Great tones can be found on the fly with the front panel's 'Room EQ" knob. Try it in the Full position and it is full and round kinda Fender. Turn the knob and it tightens up to become a VOX tone cut or bright Marshall style.
Amazing heavy metal voicings. So many usable sounds, and parameters that adjust to something useful.

Analog stereo chorus, analog compression,  analog wah wah, analog tremolo, gate, A+B FX loop can be stereo. Use a CC pedal to control wah, not included.

The analog compression can overdrive the cleans for improved gain response at lower ratios like 1.5:1. It will add blues type, clean gain for tube breakup at a programmable threshold. A unique feature.

Hard tones. Easy Tones. Flat tones. Iced jazz tones. This thing shreds!

Everything functions and works. Knobs and buttons checked.

The ADA MP-2 offers a pallet of 10 tube voices ranging from ultra clean and bright, to funky compressed, to "over the edge" saturated distortion. The voices serve as the basis upon which tone is developed, and further shaped into new sonic textures with the on board signal processing effects.
All of the MP-2's processing is done in the analogue domain to insure the best possible tone with the most dynamic range and lowest noise, even at high gain settings. MP-2 comes with an on board wah-wah effect, which can be triggered, swept automatically or controlled with a Midi Continuous Control Pedal.
A fully programmable compressor, a stereo chorus, the tremolo and a noise gate/fader can be set for each program.
The MP-2 includes a stereo effects loop with programmable mixing and panning of wet and dry signals.
The EQ consists of two sections: the classic tone controls (Low-Mid-Bass- Presence) and a 9-band graphic EQ.
