Fender Precision Bass 1963 Vintage US

Very rare unique custom two tone finish applied in the late sixties to 1973 when purchased, I have the original receipt. The American Vintage '63 P-Bass has a C-shaped neck profile. 1.75" (C-width) at the nut end. It's an original finish. This may not be the one of the Fender factory original finishes as you can see, but there is not another bass like this one! Its a unique Fender Precision bass 1963 (S/N.97218) with an unusual attractive professional purple/blue to black two tone that is unique and very unusual for this instrument. Flat round strings attached. This bass sounds lovely, all original parts and screws and in great condition for its age. There is some usual play-wear, knocks, scratches over the body, the original frets are in good condition too. The original thumbrest and chrome bridge & pickup cover are missing but can be easily replaced if needed. 

Alder body. It has a wide and slim C profile Maple neck with a lovely dark Rosewood fingerboard. It's missing the thumbrest and the bridge & pickup cover but otherwise all original. The current last owner my father had it since 1973 from Guitar Village - Shaftesbury Avenue. London.
