About This Listing

For sale is this Gibson L-50 guitar. The serial number defintively identifies 1953 as the year of birth.

The guitar is in very good structural condition and also very good cosmetic condition notwithstanding 2 areas (as pictured) with through-the-finish scratches.

The frets and fretboard are in very good shape but could use a light cleaning.

The original plastic buttons on the tuning pegs have disintegrated.  Well-regarded, era-appropriate reproduction buttons are available for purchase from Elderly Instruments.

Also included is the original faux-aligator chipboard case which is also in very good condition overall but with imperfections as picutured.

Fully insured shipping via FedEx ground (to Continental US only.)
