About This Listing

The Black Fountain Delay from Old Blood Noise Endeavors is infused with vintage character to make it sound like classic oil can delay pedals of years gone by. With three different modes and four knobs, it's easy to dial in a great classic tone, whether it's a subtle modulation with a tinge of chorus, or an ambient, lush delay. V3 of the Black Fountain also sees Tap Tempo added, making controlling it easier than ever. Otherwise, Time, Feedback, Mid, and Fluid are your four knobs. The Fluid knob acts as a Modulation adjustment. The three way Modern/Organ/Vintage switch gives you three unique voicings for the Black Fountain. The Modern mode is your standard classic oil can tone, while Vintage adds dirt for grittier sounding repeats. The Organ mode is based on vintage organs, and has a shorter delay time of 211 milliseconds when compared to the longer delay time of the Modern and Vintage modes. For an all-around delay that's as versatile as it is full of classic tone, the Black Fountain is the way to go.

Black Fountain V3 Features:

-Tap tempo: set your tempo on the fly with two taps of a footswitch, and subdivide that tempo into quarter, eighth, or triplet notes
-Hidden function: hold the Tap footswitch to momentarily maximize feedback, leading to a nearly sound-on-sound effect
-Expression control: use an expressional pedal to control Time, Feedback, or both simultaneously
-Expanded delay time: all the way down to around 30ms and up to around 1s
-Modern, Organ, and Vintage mode give three different takes on the voice of the delay, and Fluid, Mix, Time, and Feedback knobs give control over the elements

Product Overview
Emulating the vintage sound of analog "oil can" delay units, the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Black Fountain Delay features Time, Feedback, and Mix controls as well as a Fluid knob to add modulation to the repeats of the delay signal. The Modern mode emulates units such as Fender Echo-Reverb and Morley EDL, with the Vintage mode adding a gain to the repeats. Organ mode features a short-delay "oil can" unit emulation with spring reverb, such as the ones found on the Fender Dimension IV or Tel-Ray Deluxe Organ Tone, and the Mix knob at 100% wet in this mode produces a lush vibrato sound. These rare delay effects have now been reincarnated anew in this unique modern delay pedal.
