This is a vintage Banjo Instruction book published in 1964 by Folk World. It's written and Illustrated by a man named Paul Champion. It's considered one of the early banjo instruction books that was available at that time. Please note that it is NOT a Kingston Trio songbook, even though it has a few of their popular song written in tablature form. Apparently Mr. Champion sought and got an endorsement to use the groups name on the cover. Even so, it's a well done book with a good deal of photos and Illustrations.
The condition overall is good, however there is some fraying to the edges of the spine.
It's a fairly obscure early banjo method. It has 65 pages covering a lot of info along with tab for four songs. Paul Champion also devised his own method of writing the tablature for this book.
I especially like the cover illustration by Mr. Champion. This guy is doing some serious pickin'.
