History - The amplifier is unique in both sound and look, can be seen in various early Stone Roses archival footage (Note Amplifier Still Has Silver Grill Pre JS Painted Black) as well as his later guest performance with Oasis (Black Grill)
Importance: The above is one of the most important and unique of all Rock 'n' Roll artifacts to have been released for Public Sale, its standard Fender circuit was heavily modified originally by John's Father for his specific tonal requirements throughout the most creative period of John's career. This amplifier was a key ingredient to the sound, tone of a new musical movement from the North of England that is known affectionally known as the Madchester.
Modification: The amplifier based on Johns Specific requirments has a vast amount of modifications to the tonal network in order to give the amplifier more drive and punch (Like a Marshall) while still retaining the chimney tones of a Fender Twin.
