I don't have a ton of familiarity with K Istanbuls, so I will just have to let you guys take your own liberties determining what model and stamp this Zildjian has. It weighs about 1255 grams and my opinion on sound is that this sounds like a crash (with a pretty low pitch/volume and some froth and nuance and.. pretty obviously a crash to me) I'm pretty sure this era of Ks had a "Medium" Cymbal that was like a crash and so I would guess that's what this is. I'm also pretty sure they had 16" Hats during this period, too, fyc.. but this measures at just under 16 1/8".. If this is some sort of hand or suspended cymbal, it's a bit too quiet, jazzy and flexy (not to say it's super flexible or anything).. and I just really don't think that's what it is. It has a semi-brilliant finish on top. Conditionwise the center hole is a bit undersized and has a bit of a "tricorn hat" shape. Any denting or nicking is quite minimal and shown in the edge closeups (last pic shows the only part of the edge I could find that doesn't seem to lie flat.) There's patina and scratches and stickmarks and discoloration but no cracks and in nice condition overall. Any sigs or ink are gone.
