Brian Moore MC/1 - Original 1995 Custom

I am the original owner of this Brian Moore MC/1.

Beautiful custom guitar, all mods done by Brian Moore when the shop was located in Brewster NY.

5 position strat style pickup configuration, with humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions, single coil in the middle. The bridge is loaded with a piezeo acoustic/electric pickup that dials in full acoustic tones or a blend. Included is the original custom cable that allows you to feed an electric amp AND an acoustic amp simultaneously to have all tones available on stage.

The guitar has always been stored in its case in a climate controlled environment. This guitar spent time with me on the road in the 90s, the case shows the miles, but stayed home at the studio the last 20 years. Its versatile tone palate always wonderful on recording sessions.

Cosmetically the guitar has one nick on the face otherwise, some general light superficial scuffs and light signs of rubbing/age on the brass volume knob, a little on the brassy part of the bridge.

Frets are in great shape. Tuners are locking easy tuners

The Birdseye fretboard has to be seen in person to really appreciate. Along with the flamed top the guitar never fails to get compliments and inquiries.

As for Mods, not many on this one. All done at the original shop in Brewster NY. They stopped the bridge for me and changed the original saddles to ones I preferred. I used this guitar on several tours and preferred having the set/stopped bridge at the time. Its an easy procedure to unstop if you wish and the whammy bar is still in the case. The MC1 was always renowned for its great vibrato system, I just needed the rock solid tuning, even if I broke a string live.
