About This Listing

Hello and hoping everyone is well!
You are looking at the last hollowbody in my  collection of Swingsters.  At this time  I must sell. My first purchase on Reverb, this  2010 Epiphone Swingster  has been my main guitar since parting with my White Falcon.

This guitar plays very well and looks great too. It has been professionally maintained since being  in my possession. It does show some wear; some swirls, minor scuffs but, no dings. Like all my guitars, I've tried my best to keep them in showroom, ready-to-play shape.

For anyone wishing to play rockabilly, swing, jazz,  the Epiphone Swingster is a true gem that screams rockabilly; yet can cover a lot of ground musically. Playing in 50s and 60's bands most of my years, the Swingster can replicate numerous styles of music.  From early Elvis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash to Surf to British Invasion; it does it all up quite well.

If I were to compare it to another guitar, I would have to say Gretsch.  It can replicate the Gretsch sound and twang but, because of its depth, has a much richer, lower end which is very sweet! Add some tremelo, and you can cover everything from the Everly Brothers to CCR!

The neck on this particuliar guitar is slim tapered; very, very playable.  (My other 3 had different, more chunkier necks) In addition, and so first time buyers are aware, this guitar is of larger, thicker size and has some girth to it. Its truly a guitar meant for slinging around the neck. Also, the wood grain really shows through the black translucent paint. It is a beautiful instrument.

As with the Swingster pick ups, you can switch tones from single coil to Humbucker with the pull of the tone knobs; a pretty nifty feature. The Bigsby too (with the wire arm) is a really unique and fun feature.  Many folks who see this guitar refer to it as, "the big old Johnny Cash."

Upgrades: I have replaced the original Bigsby (and spring) as the original came to me cracked. I also added the custom pearl pickguard and "E" logo as shown and, toggle switch plate. The tone knobs were also replaced as 2 of the originals were cracked and unusable. (Picture #2 in the series is how I purchased the guitar originally.) The Guardian case was later purchased as it is recommended for the Swingster. (With the case, there is no need to remove the tremolo arm.)

This guitar will be shipped in a used Guardian Guitar Case along with a black, thin leather strap and (3) alternate custom pickguards I purchased from WD music.

Please message with any/all questions.
I am very open to all reasonable offers.
Thanks for looking and stay well!
