About This Listing

This listing is for a very cool and rare Sambora Prototype 2 pickup electric guitar. What makes this really special is the guitar is signed by Chris Hofschneider who designed and built the guitar with Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi). Chris Hofschneider was Richie Sambora's long time tech and helped design and build the Sambora model that ESP mass produced. This guitar is a prototype version of what became the ESP-LTD SA-2. The guitar differs from the factory, mass produced version in that it does not have the LTD inlay at the 22nd fret and also doesn't have the serial number or say made in China on the back. I have seen a bunch of these USA made Sambora Prototypes floating around over the years. This is the only two pickup version I have come across and of course I have not encountered another signed one. The guitar plays incredibly and sounds great. It's been professionally set up and is a really well made instrument. I will also be listing another guitar owned and played by Richie Sambora so please check my other listings as well. The guitar comes with a non original gig bag and will be expertly packed. Please look at the pictures and message with questions. I am happy to ship internationally but will not falsify customs documents.
Thanks for looking,,
