Alembic Series 1 Guitar 1974 Brown (Goncalo Alves, https://www.wood-database.com/goncalo-alves/)
This is a GORGEOUS example of a 1974 Alembic Series 1 guitar. The finish is in excellent condition, no belt-buckle marks on the back, no pick scratches on the front, etc. The only reason I'm not calling it "mint" is that word doesn't really mean ANYTHING anymore!! The brass electronics cover plate on the back has some very light surface scratches that you have to look hard at to see. I've included photos here with the best look at them. Everything works as designed and the instrument recently came back from the fine folks at Alembic with another guitar they serviced for me. I have a brand new Calton case for it (1500.00 worth) AND the very nice original case. You can have either or BOTH if you want to pay the extra shipping. The original power-supply/stereo signal output box is included. It's from 1974 and LOOKS like 1974. No paint, the dymo-labels have fallen off, see the pic. It works great and was upgraded by Ron Wickersham in the summer of 2019. The active filters are extreme! I am in Canada. Ask questions BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. I always go the extra mile when packaging the instruments I sell, but accidents can happen. Your shipping method/insurance/taxes/duty expenses. I will follow YOUR instructions to the letter. This is a beautiful, rare guitar in premium condition at a fair price. I will pay for the packaging.
