Kramer RARE! Ripley Stereo HEX distortion EVH endorsed 1986/1987 Black/Black

This is a black 1986/1987 Kramer Ripley Stereo guitar with the RARE! additional HEX distortion option.
These guitars were made from around late 1984, early 1985 to mid 1987. They are not listed in the late 1987 Kramer product price guides. They were discontinued by mid 1987. They were not made for very long and I do not believe many were made. They do not come up for sale very often.
These guitars were designed by Steve Ripley (R.I.P.) and endorsed and used by guitar players like Edward Van Halen (R.I.P.). It was a custom Ripley Stereo guitar that was used on the song Top Jimmy, on the Van Halen 1984 album.
This is a true Stereo guitar. Each string has a stereo split left and right. This guitar also has a rare extra option of built in HEX overdrive/distortion.

Condition.
This guitar is in EXCELLENT, almost mint condition with very, very minimal blemishes, or ware marks. Please see the pic's. You can clearly see where the minimal ware is located. It is listed as very good condition for Reverb standards. For being 36 years old it is my opinion that it is in excellent condition for a vintage guitar.
The guitar has been professionally set up by a luthier/guitar tech with over 30 years experience. It was set up for very low action using Elixir 9 gauge Nanoweb guitar strings. The original case has no Kramer logo but is in Excellent, near mint condition.
It is in excellent working order and works flawlessly.
This guitar is being sold with the case, original splitter box, stereo cable, strap locks, and Floyd Rose tools. I am missing the original paperwork. This is available on vintagekramer.com, along with more detailed info on this model.

I have not seen another Kramer Ripley Stereo in this kind of excellent condition and I probably never will see one like it again.
I do not have to sell this guitar and I would prefer to hold on to it for many more years. If you want a nice one this is it.
