About This Listing

For sale is my Oberheim SEM Pro in amazing condition.

This is one of the good ones (#616). Upward from around #800, they changed the circuits/parts and they sound not the same at all, less of the beauty and magic. This is not it, this is unit 616 from the best run.

Best version:
- #1 to around #800;
- glossy black buttons and pots;
- No "running M" logo on the front panel below the VCF; and
- much much better sound!

Lesser, later version:
- around #800 and upward;
- matt black buttons and pots;
- "Running M" logo on the front panel below VCF; and
- Of course less of THE sound.

I am the original buyer and never really used it because it never matched to the project I was doing. As you know, the sound is incredible obviously but it never fitted with what we were doing. After close to ten years of having it and not playing it, I am selling it - although I will probably regret it in a few years.

Because it has been played only a few times since I've got it and I just tested it today, I am selling it as is. Unless it arrives broken obviously!

The unit comes with a power supply.
