For sale is an ultra-rare Gretsch Country Club in natural blonde finish with a solid spruce top, manufactured in 2007 in Japan. Excellent condition with a beautiful, distinct tone.
Most natural Country Clubs Gretsch produced in the 2000's had maple tops, but a few ended up with spruce tops (like this one). Gretsch no longer has a Country Club model with single-coil Dynasonic pickups in its product line, making this specimen all the more rare.
This guitar is in excellent condition, and has spent most of its life in its case. I'm the original owner, selling because it just doesn't get enough attention. Includes original hard shell case (very good condition, a few surface scratches), all original paperwork from Gretsch.
Also included is a TruArc copper bridge that correctly matches the guitar's 12-inch fretboard radius, but I will also include the original Synchromatic bridge that came with the guitar.
Some specifications:
- 25.5 inch scale
- 2 Dynasonic single-coil pickups
- Spruce top, laminated maple back and sides, maple neck, rosewood fretboard
- 17 inch lower bout, 2.75 inch body depth
- Made Feburary 2007 in Terada, Japan
Reasonable offers will be considered; shipping costs and insurance included in price. Please get in touch with any questions. Thanks for looking!
