Item Description

The Kenwood KP-700D, released in Japan in 1981 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a sought-after direct drive turntable. The KP-700D has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 75 dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.025% (WRMS). In addition to its high-fidelity Kenwood heritage, the KP-700D features a design that is both precise and solid. The sound quality is superb. In recent years, Kenwood turntables from this era have been getting more and more attention, by virtue of their high quality. One in very good condition is a find, to be sure!

This particular unit is in very good condition, with some signs of aging and use (please see photos), including some scratches and coloration. The dust cover has scratches and yellowing (please see pictures and refer to dust cover policy below). This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. It doesn't come with hinges, headshell and cartridge.
