About This Listing

Why on earth is there a photo of famed San Francisco tattoo artist Lyle Tuttle here? He used to own this Martin 5K. He got it decades ago from a colorful character who called himself "Ukulele Stan" and wrote his name in the soundhole. The ukulele only recently surfaced from Tuttle's estate following his death.

Just like one of Lyle's tattoos, this stunning little uke will make an impression. The pearl work sparkles and the flamed Hawaiian koa dances in the light. With a bit of play wear, it has survived in all original condition with the original case. Recently set up by my luthier, who repaired one side crack. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face every time you open the case.
