Awesome pre-Prestige Japanese made Ibanez!
This is a '98 model Ibanez RG7620 7-string, made in the Fujigen factory that now makes all the Prestiges, J-Customs, etc. This guitar delivers the quality you would expect from the Fujigen factory, but at a more affordable price.
The color is some sort of metallic green, which was surprisingly difficult to photograph. Incidentally, some of the pictures in direct sunlight show some dust particles and fingerprints on the finish. Couldn't seem to capture the precise color without also picking up these.
This guitar is in very good used condition. Excellent playability, functionality, and good tone. Very little fret wear. It does have some cosmetic imperfections. There are some dings and chip on the edges (some of which have been touched up in black), as well as some light scratches on the finish (mostly on the back). But nothing that substantially effects the guitar. I've tried my best to capture these in a few different shots.
Overall, even with the cosmetic imperfections, the guitar presents very well and looks good on stage.
Basically, this is your chance to get a hard to find, non-Prestige, Japanese made Ibanez 7-string. These are much better than the modern Indonesian or Chinese made Ibanez guitars.
It comes with the original hardshell case, which is in decent shape although it does have some bumps and bruises. All the latches work as they should, although I do not know the code for the locking latch in the center.
The only thing that looks changed on the guitar are the strap buttons. Also is missing the tremolo bar for the Floyd Rose, but those are not hard to come by.
Here are the full specs on these guitars:
Basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard, black hardware, the awesome Lo Pro Edge trem, Gotoh tuning keys, and stock Dimarzio pickups with a 5-way lever switch, 1 volume, and 1 tone.
