Paul Reed Smith 59/09 - 2009 Experience Guitar - Faded Blue Jean / Private Stock Top

For sale is my Paul Reed Smith 59/09 guitar. I bought this guitar new right after it was released at the 2009 PRS Experience. This guitar straddles the line between the ultimate player’s guitar with a subtle vibe and a stunning show piece with a true "Blue Monster" of a quilted top. One of the first years of the 'Experience' guitars, these 2009 guitars used Private Stock wood, and this top is one of the nicest quilted tops from this run. 

I gigged the guitar for ten years. Over that time it accumulated its share of dings and beauty marks and has a natural “light relic” finish to show for it. The pictures show the more obvious wear on the front and back of the body and frets, though there are also light marks and dings that are through the finish on the guitar. This is not a case queen in mint condition. It’s a player’s guitar – sounds great in all pickup positions, easy playing with low action (set up for 10’s). 

Included in the sale of the guitar is the original case (with similar wear) and all the case candy. I changed the trussrod cover to rosewood, and included the original 59/09 trussrod cover. The knobs were swapped out for lampshades, and the studs are locking Tone Pros. The rest of the guitar is all original, including the stock and early versions of the 59/09 pickups.

The guitar still looks amazing and plays great. It’s a rare guitar that doesn’t come up for sale often, so this is your chance to pick up a unique PRS that looks, sounds, and plays great.
