Here we have a cool and somewhat rare Bartel fretless bass. There is info on a few sites worth looking at.
From what I gathered this is a prototype made by Paul Barth, of Rickenbacker history. These basses were also under the Acoustic, and Hohner brand name.
This particular one is in good shape, but not pampered. Action is good to me, however that's my opinion.
The electronics have been cleaned and check out fine. The fingerboard shows ware as seen in the photos.
One of the machine heads has been changed, note the BC Rich "B". From the front it looks good. The rest of the tuners are the old German Schallers.
There is no case. Shipping will include insurance .
