For sale is an extremely rare 1966 Ibanez Rickenbacker clone. It predates serial numbers and comes from an interesting time in Ibanez’s history when they were making top notch copies of USA and UK guitars. This was featured in the Ibanez book.
The guitar is in good condition given its age. It was just refretted last month. There is a pain rub near the bridge. It’s a very small line. There is also a rub in the lacquer in the neck near the first fret. Other than that no real issues.
A few quirks is that the knobs are labeled with T and V, but they are mis labeled. Also in the middle position, you have to turn the volume down a bit to get sound. Not sure why, it looks like it came from the factory that way.
Includes a chipboard case that has stickers and is in rough condition.
