Laúd-Bandurria restored (little restoration as it was very well preserved) by the luthier and guitar maker, Manuel López (Jaén-Úbeda, land of the great guitarist Don Andrés Segovia. Seise de la Capilla "Coro de Seises de Úbeda". Researcher at the acoustic wood, resonance box), one of the most prestigious luthiers in Andalusia-Spain in restoration of cathedral porticoes, among others, born in Úbeda.

It is a Bandurria-Lute with six double strings made by the guitar maker Salvador Ibáñez y Albiñana (* 1853 † 1917), he began to build guitars and lutes in 1865 at C / Muela, 23 in Valencia. This luthier, along with others such as Silvestre Senchordi, Luis Reig and his brother Salvador Pau and Lisart, were the most important Valencian guitar manufacturers of the 19th century.
From the investigations made by Marian Harris Winspear and José Luis Romanillos Vega In 1896, Salvador Ibáñez appears for the first time in the commercial guides of Valencia on Ruzafa street and between 1898 and 1906 on Bajada de San Francisco street, and later in the number 8 of Padre Rico street and finally to number 16 of Hospital street.
Salvador Ibáñez manufactured lutes, six- and twelve-string guitars and also guitars with removable necks, as well as the basses needed for each instrument.
Along with other Valencian luthiers of that time, such as Francisco González and José and Manuel Ramírez, he was one of the first to arch the guitar's top; and he is considered the first to make a double-neck guitar or a detachable guitar.
We do not know the exact date of manufacture of the instrument, although due to its technical characteristics, the owner's references and the dating of previous guitars in addition to the labelling, a fork between 1898-1905 are deduced.
This guitar is a living example of the advances incorporated in the construction of guitars in the early 1800s and that show us the foundations of the current modern guitar.
