Hello. Up for sale is an interesting and rare 1982 D'Agostino Jazz Bass guitar.
These basses are
very
well made and quite uncommon to see today.
They were made in Japan in the early 80s for a few years. They are interesting in that they have a really big neck like an old P-Bass coupled with a solid mahogany body. The fingerboard is a thick slab rosewood with block markers and neck binding.
This one is in great condition. Overall, it looks excellent but it has a few small dings so on Reverb I would call it very good. The finish is still bright and shiny as are the parts and pickguard. The neck, frets, fingerboard and fingerboard binding are all very clean. There isn't much wear to the frets or fingerboard. The tuning keys operate like they are new.
I think the bass was used for a while back in the day and then was stored in the case for a long, long time until today.
The neck is straight on this bass and the truss rod works. The bridge and pickup cover are included.
Weight wise this bass is hefty at 9.8 lbs.
