this is the Washburn Dimebag Darrell D3 Stealth Dimeplate made in the USA. This model took me forever to find (actually, a few years of daily looking). These only come around very rarely, so act decisively if you intend to own one.
It is in very good condition overall. There is a paint crack on the neck scarf joint, which is only the paint. I'm going to say this again it is just the paint, and it is not the type that gets any worse. It is not loose or structurally unsound in any way. If you know a little basics about guitar building, this is where the headstock wood and neck are joined together hence lacquer or paint on the area is vulnerable to stress. In the case of a finished neck, lacquer/paint cracking. This crack also does not impede playability, because your palm never reaches that far up the neck even for chording. The previous owner mentioned that he received it like this due to a poor packing/shipping practice.
I could not find a serial number, just the Buzz Feiten logo on back of headstock, but if you have any doubt that this is a genuine Dimeplate, well... suffice to say you are not the target market for one of these guitars and I'm not going to try and convince you either.
There are minor paint chips on the tip of headstock and on the back pointy edges. These are shown in the pics. Very tiny hairline cracks, in fact much better than typical D3s, shown clearly with flash pics. The metal plate is nice and has fine scratches from polishing, this is inevitable. The bridge is in nice clean condition. The fingerboard is clean, no noticeable fretwear. Overall in very nice condition with no impressions of abuse or undue wear.
This is a top-of-the-line custom shop signature guitar. It is ready to plug in and play. It has Schaller straplocks installed, includes the original strap pins, Washburn owner care card, and the Washburn OHSC with no issues.
