About This Listing

Selling a very sweet Beveled Taylor 2014 Ltd. (label says Custom

12/21/16,  received a complete inspection, neck set, set up, clear Taylor pickguard, and serious top buffing! Currently sporting Elixir PB HD light strings and really singing wonderfully!
All work done by my pal Tim Luranc. Tim was Head Luthier of R. Taylor and is now Senior Repair Tech at Taylor El Cajon.

This axe has been played, but the condition is now very close to new, and the set up is perfect, as always from Tim Luranc!

Check the MF link below for a nice demo and even more info!

Made as a special run for Musician's Friend Private Reserve to celebrate Taylor's 40th anniversary.

This one has upgraded bone nut, and Gotoh 510 tuners! These were not standard on this model!!!

still sports the stock  Micarta saddle which Tim L says seems to work really well with the ES2 pup and sounds great acoustically as well.

These were some of Andy Powers first revoicings. The Tasmanian Blackwood is perfectly quartersawn, light, Loud, and very resonant. The AP designed Advanced performance bracing and relief rout add a lot to the tone and volume.

This has the new 3.5 mil finish thickness on the top.

And the bevel alone is a $1,500 up charge if ordering new from Taylor!!

This axe has been played. There WERE a bunch of TINY indents in the top. Most but not all where a pickguard would normally be. Very difficult to see or photograph, as the top has so much Bearclaw and silking! NOW the indents are gone, after Tim's super top buff.

The rest of this guitar is pristine. Very minimal fret wear.

Pick up works great.

Action is set to 6/64" and 5/64" Entire new Taylor Micarta wave compensated saddle to adjust if desired.

Gotoh 510s are smooth and secure as usual.

I believe this has the new Andy Powers neck carve. The carve seems to have a bit of a modified V near the nut, and the usual Taylor carve up the neck. It seems even a bit easier to get around than the pre AP shape to me
