Tannoy V8 monitor speakers

great monitors, very flat, smooth sound, i just prefer the slam and sizzle of my 15" 400 watt jbl's.  i powered these with a 200 watt ashly, but clearly, they are only 8" 2 way, i am learning more and more, with speakers, size matters a lot.  i had the 15" version of these and regret having sold them, among the best sounding speakers i ever had, but the 8" version, does fine for an 8, but no comparison to a 15" version.  the amps ion these went out, so they were converted to passive, and probably sound better that way anyway, a 200 watt ashly studio amp is better than almost any plate amp in speakers like this.  they are fully functional, ready to use, just put fair condition due to normal wear( they still look good), and the fact that they were converted to passive.
