This is a really nice guitar, and would be great for that person just starting out.  I personally would never spend several hundreds of dollars on a guitar when just starting out, whether for myself or for a family member, because you never know if it was meant to be, but if so, that can be something to look forward to, so the best of luck to all, but it often takes desire, and alot of practice, but if you can manage to work hard for the next 6 months, you will have made it in my opinion, as it becomes rather enjoyable from there on. This will give you a lifetime of enjoyment, and so put in an effort, and find a great teacher if possible. 

This is an un-played guitar, in mint condition, but sold as a used guitar per Reverb listing policies, as we are no longer an active member of this industry, as a result of our fathers illness he no longer has the ability to maintain industry relationships etc.. so we are finally selling everything.  Most of the guitars in our fathers inventory was that of new guitars, but also included used and those in need of minor to extensive repairs.  We will do all that we can to ensure you have all of the information available to you, and it is always our intent to provide honest and accurate info, but we ask that you also use due diligence in the event you have questions, or if you know something we do not, or may not have mentioned. We appreciate any and all help with info.  We stand by our descriptions, and when we declare a guitar to be in mint condition, it is indicative of a NOS/new instrument, or one that has never been played or most likely not owned by others, and on used guitars, we will always indicate any and all known problems when listing guitars and other equipment.  Again, please ask questions, as you may know more than we do about any of the listings we offer.

We are selling all of our father’s guitars, bodies, necks, pickups, pick-guards etc.... including all other kinds of parts and accessories related to music instruments etc, and so because we are liquidating all of my fathers assets, so all sales will be final and returns will not be possible, with few exceptions.
