The Victor JL-B37R, released in Japan in 1976 during the "Golden Era" of Japanese audiophile equipment, is a well-regarded direct drive turntable of high quality of both engineering and sound. The JL-B37R features a high-torque 12- pole / 24-slot DC motor. This fabulous motor is controlled by a servo quartz circuit and FG system, using 180 grooves for high engineering feedback accuracy. Further, this tonearm bearing features a unique gimbal support system machined with micron-level accuracy, and The tonearm interior itself contains vibration-attenuating material. As a result of these innovations and more, the JL-B37R has some impressive stats, including an SNR of 72 dB (DIN-B) and wow and flutter of <0.03% (RMS,) rotating part FG method). The JL-B37R is a highly precise vintage Japanese turntable that you won't want to miss!
This turntable is in very good condition, with some minor signs of wear, including some scratches, chips and minor oxidation of the metal parts (please see photos). This turntable has been thoroughly checked and tested by our professional technician, confirming its flawless operation. .
