Not a stock MXL-990!This is a modified and massively upgraded 990. The low-end SDC capsule is replaced with a K47 style capsule. The electronics are replaced with the excellent circuit from mic-parts dot com. These mods turn this entry level microphone into a serious addition to your collection.

donor mic in stock right now just waiting to be upgraded for someone. Turn-around time would likely be 7-14 days. The vintage green paint job is what I do for my own mics. If you like it, I'll do the painting or leave it as MXL-silver.
