About This Listing

Offering for sale this classic Santa Cruz style F  completed in 2001. 
The top is of German spruce that shows even and tight grain and cross silking.
Top ,back,sides and rosette are a multiple black and maple purfle bound with ivoroid.
Back and sides are of a nicely figured curly set of Maple. 
Neck is of highly Curled and figured Maple 
Ebony fretboard and frets in excellent and smooth condition .
Fretboard is inlaid with SCGC’s Art Deco mother of pearl fret markers with dog bone at 16th fret.

The Guitars is in a very well cared for and maintained condition. The guitar has been handled and played minimally.   The neck was reset approximately 6 years back showing witness of performed work along both sides of fretboard extension.
Present action is set at moderate low, 3/32” at E6 and 2/32” at E1 . Plenty of saddle remains for any further future lowering adjustment if ever needed.  Fretboard sights in level as well as planes in with top of Ebony bridge.   Scale length;251/2”.  Nut width;1 11/16”   Saddle spacing E to E 2 3/16”
This is one of the finest well developed tone Santa Cruz that I’ve had the honor and pleasure to play.
The body resonance is full and warm with strong inner box reverb.  Bass is focused and full. Mids and trebles are alive with clarity and strong upper end shimmer. It has great volume and presence!!!  
Guitar ships with OHSC in very good condition. 
The instrument tailblock pin hole has been pre-drilled to receive a input jack at one time.
This is an exceptional 20year old Classic Santa Cruz Guitar Company small jumbo design !!!
It should please the most discerning player.  Current build replacement is pushing mid$9,000.
