Hello, we are selling our
Korg PS-3200 and its PS-3010 controller
restored and fully functional
, of which 300 units were manufactured.
This 48-note polyphony monster was in a terrible state when we purchased it, today it is now ready to be played, recorded and sold.
A little further down, you can find a complete description of the restoration.
Cabinetmakers have made the exact replicas of the cabinets, they are splendid.
There are some cosmetic imperfections on the control panels on the synthesizer and on the controller (see photos).
Here is what we did:

The rust has been removed .

Power Supply repaired.

Replacement of the AC cable (modification had already been carried out in 1980).

Replacement of all 1/4 stereo and mono sockets on the synthesizer and controller.

Many stuck potentiometers have been repaired.

Cleaning and lubrication of all potentiometers and switches.

Full disassembly, cleaning and adjustment of the keyboard.

Repair of several muted or ''full-on'' note disorders on the ''Keyboard Gates'' cards.
- Cable cleaning with a total of 120 pins and 120 headers.

Replacement of the Triggers select rotary selector on the keyboard.

+ than 750 welds only for the 34 card sockets, + than 230 for 1/4 sockets, + than 380 for the 24 IC Dividers , more than 180 for adjustment trimmers, etc.

Replacement of all the electrolytic capacitors on all the boards, and of several tantalum capacitors (tantalums).

Replacement of around sixty tuning trimmers on the cards.

Replacement of all the Dividers chips (14 of the 24 were dead ...) on the 4 Signal Generators boards by clones identical to the original MM5824 chips ...

Repair of sound bank troubles (16 presets in memory).

Replacement of the battery holder for the memory.

Repair of one of the ''band'' in the Equalizer section.

Repair of the Balance Modulator (AM and Ring Modulator) with new Vectrols.

Repair of the Ensemble section (Chorus effect).

Full calibration.

Addition of a modification (invisible and reversible) for a Sustain pedal (about 30 seconds of Hold when activated :)

Making cabinet replicas (by Atelier Kopo).

Restoration of handles.
