Chances are that if you're looking at this listing, you know exactly what this is. Just in case, this is one of the original Parker Fly guitars from Ken Parker's original factory before the company got bought out. This particular model is quite rare as it is a hard tail (no tremolo), and has a beautifully textured gunmetal and black finish (see pictures). It has Sperzel locking tuners, dual active humbuckers, carbon fiber fretboard, acoustic piezo pickups in the bridge, mono/stereo output jack and button, and original case.
It is in perfect condition with the exception of a previous installation of a MIDI pickup that left two small holes in the body between the bridge humbucker and the bridge (barely noticeable - see photos), and the drop D tuner mechanism is missing one of the two screws. It still works, however, and I've been using it to go from E to D effortlessly for 15 years.
The shipping cost is high because I will ship it in a hard case because I do not trust USPS/UPS/FEDEX with shipping such a valuable instrument in a soft case. That said, shipping includes the hard case and the original soft case, as well as insurance at the selling price. I'll only ship to the US lower 48.
Only used in smoke-free studio and lives inside its case when not being played.
