The electronics have been upgraded with Fender Texas Specialpickups, CTS pots, Sprague Orange Drop capacitor, and an Oak Grigsby 3 way switch.
California Vintage series` current PT Standard model is a vintage Tele guitar, but with a bit spiced up tone. Many of the classic Tele features can be seen on this marvelous PT six-string. For starters, there`s a classic tray bridge three staggered pole pieces and string-through construction. Tele pickguard, pickups combo and the controls unit also correspond with the Tele tradition. Solid and flat body is made of swamp ash (the original tonewood of the 1950s Telecasters) and is paired with a bolt-on maple neck with a 21-fret maple fingerboard on top. Slanted bridge pickup is Schecter Diamond MonsterTone VT, while the neck pickup is VT-1. These two come with one volume knob, one tone knob and a three-position switch. Set of locking Schecter tuners rounds off the specs list.
This guitar is in mint condition with very minimal use.
