About This Listing

This Getzen valve trombone is in fantastic condition for its age! The valves have a serial that dates them to the "k series", while the bell has a serial that dates it in the "kt series", both dating them to 1964'-67'. There are no major dents on any part of the horn. There are a few tiny dings in the bell, but are only visible upon very close examination. The valves have about 85% of the lacquer left and still look fantastic! The pearls are intact, and look beautiful still! There are signs of a few professionally done solders at a few brace joints. The bell has about 80% of the lacquer still. There are a few scratches, and some pitting, as pictured in picture 6, but other that that, the bell is in great condition as well! The horn comes with a case to accommodate both valve and slide attachments, and at full price offer will come with a mouthpiece. Feel free to contact us with any further questions, or if you'd like to see more pictures of the instrument. International shipping excluded.
