This 1989 Wal Bass MK1 was purchased in 2001 at a guitar show. It's in very good shape considering it's age, and it sounds great! I've used it extensively for recording and gigs and never met a sound engineer who wasn't impressed.
Instrument Details
Body
Mahogany core
Padauk facings
1/4 inch and SLR outputs
Active electronics
master volume, neck and bridge tone, and pickup blend controls
powered by a 9volt battery
Case
Ships with an Epiphone bass case. This is the case the dealer gave me in 2001. The case is serviceable, but it has been taped on one corner - my dog chewed a hole there when he was a pup. Note that I contacted Wal a few years ago, and they will sell you an original case (at least they did at the time).
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
