A really cool Vintage Gibson Guitar part!
Its a Vintage 1960's Gibson wraparound Compensated bridge/tailpiece..
They are commonly known as the "lightning bolt" tailpiece... Gibson introduced these around 1962-1963. This one, being Chrome not Nickel, would make it correct for all Les Paul, SG or Melody Maker guitars from 1965 thru 1969.
Both adjustment Allen screws are in place
The bridge has numbers inside the bottom...the one side has TPBR 8543 and the other end has 12609.. hard to take pics of them but thats whats in there...
The chrome is still nice and bright. Some pitting given its age but that also insures that it looks correct! There are minute notches on the bottom edge where the strings ‘wrap over,’ but not too bad These bridges were made to be used with a wound G string.
