Guild's
smallest 12 string, built in Westerly, RI. No longer made. Solid spruce top, solid hog back and sides. The very uncommon
dark Tobacco burst is gorgeous. This is the only Tobacco F112 I've ever seen. She is
perfect for finger or flat picking and melodic songs as the tone is
even across the strings.
Overall
condition is very good - No cracks or damage. One noticeable finish scratch in the black part of
the lower treble bout, back has a couple minor surface scratches otherwise very light play wear. The
action is low at 0.70-0.80. Plays fine all the way up the neck.
- Nut width: 1-13/16
- Lower: 15-1-4 x 5 deep
- Upper: 11-1/8 x 4 deep
- Waist: 9-1/2
Improvements within the last two years:
- Recent luthier setup
including fret level, new bone nut and bone saddle.
- Replaced the worn
plastic bridge pins with bone/tortoise pins from Bob Colosi.
- Replaced the old
worn chipboard case with a vintage Guild hard case.
- The strings are
fairly new but I will throw in a pack of light or medium strings, your choice.
