These vintage correct pickups are made with aged bobbins, pre-CBS size A5 magnets, 42g enamel-coated copper wire, push-back cloth wire and are wax potted. They are hand wound and hand constructed as individual sets, giving them unique tone and compatibility. They are also RWRP (reverse-wound, reverse-polarity), so they are hum-canceling when both pickups are engaged in the middle switch position. Each pickup is wound over 8,000 times and has a DC resistance averaging 7.6k ohm. The bridge pickup is slightly hotter then the neck pickup, which makes for easy pickup height setting. Available in black or gray bobbins
