Photos show when I had my pickup installed (AVEDISSIAN custom) but I really want to keep it for a future guitar and just sell at a lower price.  Frets could use some work at some point.  Selling at a fat discount so you can this done, or if you are a luthier/tech (which I am not) you can get a killer axe to keep or flip.

80's CHARVEL MODEL 2 in good overall condition.  Model 2's are the best for minimalist shred axes with whammy, and excellent Made In Japan quality.

Has some typical wear and a few tiny dings on the body (no major damage), the neck on these are AWESOME, and the headstock is still quite nice and pointy unlike so many of these that have the tip totally chipped away. 

This KILLER axe will require a pickup install and setup after shipping since it has the Floyd Rose licensed TRS-101 bridge. 

1) I would honestly recommend fret level and crown for best action (pics show a few flat spots) but there is still plenty of fret height left to optimize it in my opinion. 

2) There is minor fretboard de-lam at the 1st fret on the high E-string side (see photo), very easy DIY fix with fast super glue and clamps if you want it back perfect.  Pretty common deal on 80's guitars.

3) You can easily add a tone control or coil tap switch, but I installed black hardware in that spot (someone had modded it obviously) since I prefer the classic single knob configuration. 

4) It comes with a whammy bar but I am not sure it is original, as it has a little bit of slack when screwed in. 

5) Backplate is missing. 

Overall this thing is pretty sick as you would expect from 80's Charvel Japan, and really nice condition overall.  If you can work on your own axe (or have a tech buddy) you can have this thing back to nearly perfect in a day.
