I purchased this new through the Accutab folks in Roanoke in 2003. I am not a gigging banjo player so this has rarely been outside of my smoke free home and has always lived in conditioned space. It has been played some and there is some light fret wear below the 5'th fret. It has the speed neck option as you can see in the photos and has spikes at the 7'th and 9'th frets and the bridge has Crowe spacing. The strap shown will come with it and I don't see any dents, dings or belt rash on it anywhere.
From the Huber brochure of the era here is the description, Mahogany neck and resonator and natural mahogany finish, Huber pre war replica tone ring, hide glue 3 ply rock maple rim. Vintage style one piece zinc flange. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and nickel plated hardware.
At 69 I don't think I'll have time to become the next JD Crowe and I've accumulated way too many instruments over the years so this is for sale only, not interested in any trades. $3200.00 or best offer plus shipping from 22901.
