I’ve never seen an explorer body with a peg headstock either! I’ve taken it to a couple of shops and their best guess is that somebody at the Gibson factory must’ve made it. Plays perfectly and stays in tune, no issues other than cosmetics. P/J pick ups, passive electronics, controls are volume/volume/tone with a mini three-way pick up selector. Aftermarket Jackson bridge with what looks like wood was filled in underneath. There are numerous scratches, chips, areas where the paint has worn off, tried to show them in the pictures as best as I could. Sideways crack at the base of the neck is only in the paint, I’ve had this thing for years with no playing issues. Comes with Dean explorer hard case.
