A really cool 1985 USA Made Peavey T-15 in Natural over an Ash Body! All original to include the Peavey Chainsaw Hard Shell Case!

Awesome shape with minor and superficial dings and scratches. The frets are in great shape. All original and it sounds massive!

The T-15 is an example of American guitar-making art. The T-15 has two single coil Super Ferrite pickups which is combined with unique circuitry that allows an amazing and versatile tonal range. It has a three way military grade switch, a master volume control, master tone control, and a top loaded Switchcraft output jack.

The rock maple neck is bi-laminated constructed with adjustable steel torsion rod, and has the U.S. patent #4*, 237,944. The T-15 is a slightly shorter scale length of 23 1/2" and is a 12" radius board, with 21 frets. The frets are of the jumbo variety and are made from 18% nickel silver. It has a very fast and comfortable neck. Peavey equipped it with heavy duty tuning keys, and a metal top nut.

The bridge is die cast and has adjustable saddles. The body is sculptured. Standard colors for the T-15 were natural, black, red, and burgandy.

Each T-15 came with a matching molded contoured case that provides safe transit and protection.

Though Peavey is better-known for amplifiers and PA equipment, the Peavey T-15 electric guitar of the 1980s is something of a hidden gem -- and an affordable one, at that. This short-scale oddity, dubbed the "Mississippi Mustang" by its owners and admirers, was originally marketed as an entry-level/student instrument, though their consistency and durability has recently found some favor and landed them in rather wide use for touring indie rock bands. Fast and comfortable to play, the pickups are really what brings it home here. These humbucker-sized single coils have an awesome tone that really brings out the resonance and sustain that the solid ash body provides. See the great playability and killer tone that these overlooked guitars have to offer.

This guitar is made right here in the USA. It has a solid Wood body, Rock Maple 23.5 inch short scale Neck, and Single Coil Super Ferrite Pickups.

The guitar has been freshly Professionally setup with new 10 guage strings. It plays great with awesome low action. The Peavey bridge makes intonation a snap. The Pickups are very strong .. You will love the vintage 80’s sound and looks from this cool vintage guitar.

Check out the original Peavey Chainsaw Hard Shell Case. Our Tech added the nice padded touches to the interior. The original foam had deteriorated long ago. It cradles the guitar better than new now! Check those case pics! The Case is as nice as the Guitar!
