I don't know much about this Schecter as far as the year it was made, but they don't seem to make it any longer and it doesn't seem to be extremely common. It's a beautiful bass, even if this particular one has some slight dings, which are really only noticeable upon close inspection. This bass is a delight to play and (when working) sounds great with the stock pick ups.

Here's the problem:
This bass is an active/passive switch bass, and at some point in my time having it, the active pre-amp blew up. I played it for a good while strictly passive, and it didn't quite have the same punch or character, but acceptable. When the band I used it for ended, I decided to get a friend to switch out the pre-amp. He put in an Aguilar OPB-2TK, and we were just settling on the idea that it would now be strictly active pick ups. It worked like that for a while and sounded great. Now, for reasons unknown, I do not get any sound out of this bass. I've personally cracked it open to see if theres any soldering issues, but it looks fine in there, and did previously play. I just don't have it in me to get this fixed, as I really don't need this bass anymore and would rather someone who has the time and patience for it get to tinker around.

At the very least, there's a lot about this bass that could be parted out or modified. The replacement preamp retails over around $140, so if that is as fine as it should be, this is already a good deal. I hate to sell this bass at a loss to me, but it seems that it's just the way it's going to go. My loss, your gain!

Keep in mind this is left handed. It is sold without a case or gig bag, but will be packaged well and shipped quickly.
